Accounting Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Billing & Payables Specialist to join their team. This position is responsible for entering trucking load tickets into QuickBooks, processing accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is comfortable with high-volume data entry, has QuickBooks experience, and enjoys working in a collaborative office environment. Schedule: Monday - Friday | Flexible Hours | Office Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay: $22.00 - $25.00/hour, based on experience What You'll Do: Enter trucking load tickets into QuickBooks for accounts receivable and accounts payable Process and maintain accurate billing and payment records Communicate regularly with the dispatcher and trucking brokers regarding loads, tickets, and billing Perform high-volume data entry while maintaining accuracy Assist with general administrative and office responsibilities as needed Help ensure the office remains covered during business hours and assist with answering phones Work closely with the dispatcher and office team to keep daily operations running smoothly What We're Looking For: Previous QuickBooks experience required Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable performing repetitive, high-volume data entry Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team Previous trucking, transportation, or accounting experience is a plus, but not required What's Offered: Competitive pay Training provided by the dispatcher and office team Small, collaborative office environment Work-life flexibility -as long as the work is completed and the office is appropriately covered This could be a great fit for someone with QuickBooks + data entry + AP/AR + administrative experience who is looking for a flexible Monday-Friday opportunity. #1620MI #J-18808-Ljbffr
