Children & Adolescent Mental Health Therapist, OutpatientHealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is seeking a Licensed or Pre-Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT) to join a beautiful, newly built outpatient behavioral health clinic serving children, adolescents, and families in Sioux City, Iowa.This role offers a supportive team environment, paid supervision toward licensure, and a manageable caseload focused primarily on children and adolescents. Therapists provide trauma-informed care for low to mild acuity mental health diagnoses while working alongside an established team of collaborative clinicians.Children & Adolescent Therapist Schedule37.5 hours per weekMonday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or four 9-hour shiftsApproximately 4–5 client sessions per dayThree-week ramp-up period to full caseload at full compensationChildren & Adolescent Therapist ResponsibilitiesProvide individual therapy primarily to children and adolescentsOption to see adult clients on caseload, if desiredDeliver trauma-informed care for low-mild acuity mental health diagnosesSupport families through counseling and psychoeducationFacilitate group therapy, parenting education, or support sessions as neededMaintain timely clinical documentation and treatment recordsCollaborate with a team of established therapists for consultation and supportChildren & Adolescent Therapist RequirementsMaster's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family TherapyLicensed or license-eligible in Iowa (LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT)Passion for working with children, adolescents, and familiesTrauma-informed care approach preferredEMDR, PCIT, or CBT training is a plusOutpatient Therapist CompensationPre-licensed (LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT): $60K to $75KFully licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT): $70K to $80K$10,000 sign-on bonus and HRSA loan forgiveness eligible site4 weeks PTO, 13 paid holidays, 10 sick daysEmployer-paid health and dental insurance, employer-paid life insurance403(b) with 6% employer match, flexible spending accountShort and long-term disability$300 CME allowance plus paid specialty trainingsPaid clinical supervision toward independent licensureAI-assisted documentation tools to reduce administrative workload
