Unit Supervisor

Overview We have an immediate need for a Unit Supervisor - 2nd shift. Easterseals residential facilities provide 24-hour support to youth ages 5-21. Our clinical support is designed to meet the needs of youth with neurological and/or psychiatric disabilities and intellectual and behavioral challenges. Children and their families are supported through programs designed to meet their specific needs. Responsibilities Unit Supervisors oversee the residential staff, assist staff by attending to clients, and ensure that all state and agency rules and regulations are met. Work with all unit managers to provide staff-to-child ratios as directed by state regulations. Write employee evaluations and make recommendations on salary increases. Provide daily and weekly communication updates to all clinical staff. Check all documentation and records to ensure everything is up to date and properly documented. Provide a teaching atmosphere in the milieu focusing on peer interactions and life skills. Qualifications This position requires a minimum of an Associate’s degree in a Human Services or related discipline. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, and a minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities. The position requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Hours Sunday 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM and Monday–Wednesday 1:30 PM – 11:00 PM, or Wednesday–Friday 1:30 PM – 11:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM. What’s in it for you?
