Business Development Representative

River Oaks Homecare is seeking a self-motivated Business Development Representative to help expand our client base and strengthen our presence in the community. This is a field-based role focused on developing high-value referral relationships throughout Montgomery County and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate thrives on networking, professional outreach, independent schedule management, and driving growth through strategic local partnerships.

This role is also commonly referred to as a Community Liaison or Community Outreach Representative in the home care industry.

We are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who enjoys being out in the community, meeting new people, and building strong referral partnerships. You are confident with outreach, comfortable starting conversations, and energized by the opportunity to grow a business through trust, consistency, and strategic relationship-building. You are organized, independent, and results-oriented. You know how to manage your schedule, follow through on opportunities, and stay focused on goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Relationship Development: Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources in Montgomery County and the surrounding areas.
• Lead Generation: Proactively generate new leads and convert opportunities into new client relationships.
• Strategic Outreach: Conduct consistent outreach through cold calling, in-person visits, professional networking, and follow-up communication.
• Community Engagement: Represent River Oaks Homecare at community events, networking opportunities, and professional gatherings to increase brand awareness.
• Schedule Management: Effectively manage your own daily schedule, outreach strategy, and field activity with accountability and consistency.
• Reporting: Comfortable submitting daily and weekly performance reports to track outreach, referrals, follow-ups, and results.

Skills and qualifications:

• Outreach-Focused: Comfortable with cold calling, field visits, and proactive outreach to referral partners and healthcare professionals.
• Relationship Builder: Strong networking skills and the ability to develop long-term, high-trust partnerships.
• Strong Communicator: Confident speaking with professionals, presenting services, and clearly communicating the value of home care.
• Driven and Resilient: Results-oriented, assertive, and able to handle rejection professionally while staying motivated.
• Organized and Accountable: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance fieldwork, follow-up, and reporting.

Requirements:

• Sales, marketing, business development, or related experience preferred. A degree in a relevant field will also be considered. Healthcare or home care experience is a plus, but not required. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Mileage is reimbursed. Must be available for full-time work.

This position offers a competitive base salary plus a rewarding commission and bonus structure. Additional performance-based incentives are available. Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
