Data Engineer (Jr - Sr)

BTS is looking for a talented Data Engineer (Jr - Sr) to play a key role in producing data cleaning, basic analysis, and preparation for visualization. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing dashboards, performing analysis using AI techniques, and providing data preprocessing, quality checks, data integration, and visualization creation. Location: Reston, Virginia, United States Physical Location: Full-time onsite Clearance Level - Must Currently Possess: Top Secret/SCI w/ Poly Responsibilities Produce data cleaning, basic analysis, and preparation for visualization Develop dashboards and perform analysis using AI techniques Provide data preprocessing, quality checks, data integration, and visualization creation Provide quality assurance and complex data visualizations Develop dashboards with tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and apply AI/ML models and techniques for unstructured data analysis Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category (i.e., IT, Information Science, Computer Science, Data Science/Engineering) from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education Qualification Levels Jr: BS Data Science, Computer Science, 1-2 years of experience in data engineering and visualization support Mid: 8 years of experience conducting data engineering and visualization support, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years Sr: MS Data Science, Computer Science; Cert in AI/ML and Technology; 12+ years, Data Science, Machine Learning, unstructured data Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Intelligence Community experience preferred Salary Range: $69,000 - $119,000 BTS Software Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
