Senior Psychologist

California Correctional Health Care Services is hiring a Senior Psychologist, Correctional Facility (Supervisor) at California State Prison – Sacramento (SAC). Salary: $12,685 to $14,939 per month. Limited‑term 12 months; may become permanent. Job Description and Duties Under the general direction of the Chief Psychologist, the Senior Psychologist will assume overall administrative responsibilities for programs within the Mental Health Services Delivery System (MHSDS). As Program Director: Provide evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for inmates. Accept inmates from other levels of care and participate in intake assessments, including planning. Facilitate the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team. Administer psychological tests and conduct research as needed. Supervise clinical staff and coordinate supervision of other psychologists (as supervisor). Minimum Qualifications Doctorate in Psychology (PhD, PsyD). State of California psychologist license. Background Investigation cleared. Medical clearance obtained. Experience in correctional or forensic settings is highly desirable. Additional Benefits Potential recruitment and retention bonus up to $20,000. Possible referral bonus of $5,000 for current CDCR/CCHCS employees.
