As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality surgical services, particularly in orthopedic and trauma cases. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients, contributing to their recovery and overall well-being. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
• Perform orthopedic and trauma surgeries as needed
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Participate in medical staff meetings and case discussions
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Provide patient education and support to promote recovery

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation
• Experience in orthopedic surgery and trauma surgery
• Strong surgical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethics
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Level III trauma

Schedule: Thursday 5p-Monday 7a

100% trauma cases, general orthopedic surgery skills required

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
