We are seeking a Billing Specialist to support billing and operations within a fast-paced logistics/transportation environment. This role focuses on reviewing freight bills, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely billing to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze carrier freight bills for accuracy and discrepancies
• Identify and resolve billing errors, duplicate charges, and open issues
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve billing-related concerns
• Coordinate with transportation providers to obtain required documentation
• Support timely and accurate customer billing processes
• Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, audit, or logistics/transportation operations
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Logistics, or related field
• Experience in transportation or freight billing environments
• Familiarity with billing cycles, documentation, and process improvement
