Senior Application Delivery Manager

PeerSource is currently recruiting for a Senior Application Delivery Manager on a Direct Hire basis. This role is based out of New York, NY. Summary We are seeking a senior delivery leader to oversee large-scale application development engagements with a strong emphasis on fixed-fee project execution and public sector delivery. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end project planning, financial performance, stakeholder alignment, and delivery excellence across complex programs. The ideal candidate brings deep experience leading cross-functional teams, managing risk, and ensuring successful outcomes within structured project environments. Responsibilities Lead large-scale delivery engagements from planning through execution and final delivery, ensuring alignment to scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets. Manage fixed-fee projects with full accountability for financial performance, resource planning, delivery milestones, and client commitments. Oversee application development programs, coordinating cross-functional teams to drive execution across technical and business workstreams. Serve as the primary client-facing leader for project delivery, providing status updates, managing expectations, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Identify and mitigate delivery risks, issues, and change requests, implementing corrective actions to keep programs on track. Ensure project governance, reporting, and execution practices align with established project management methodologies and public sector requirements. Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, team effectiveness, and operational execution across engagements. Required Skills 10+ years of experience in project and delivery management, including leadership of large, complex technology programs. Strong experience managing fixed-fee or fixed-bid projects with ownership of scope, budget, timelines, and overall delivery outcomes. Background in leading application development & software delivery engagements. Expertise in project leadership and formal project management methodologies; PMP-aligned delivery experience required. Proven ability to lead client-facing delivery efforts within public sector (preferred) or similarly regulated environments. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex delivery settings. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field required; MBA or comparable postgraduate degree preferred.
