Client home design: develop innovative, budget‑conscious designs; meet clients, take measurements, create floor plans, select colors, lighting, window treatments, wall coverings, cabinetry, flooring, accessories, and wall art; manage delivery and installation; provide excellent customer service (≈40%). Product knowledge: keep up‑to‑date on new products and industry news; understand features and benefits to meet customer needs (≈5%). Administrative tasks: maintain accurate records, complete timesheets, mileage reports, design reports, account management, project tracking, and schedules (≈5%). Qualifications Listens and communicates effectively (verbal & written) Technology fluency Relationship management Change receptivity Self‑driven and motivated Customer‑facing experience Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution 1–5 years of related experience Interior Design license preferred Custom Closet Design background a plus Work Environment & Schedule Full‑time, flexible schedule with evenings and weekends as needed 40‑hour per week; 8 hours in showrooms per day 60‑70% travel Physical Requirements Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in large showrooms (up to 15,000 steps per day) Technology Requirements Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) SketchUp, Design Files, AutoCAD or equivalent Use of iPad for training, transactions, financing applications, inventory checks Certifications / Licenses Florida Driver’s License Equal Opportunity Statement CITY Furniture, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
