SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST

US Department of War

Duties

You will execute contractual documents and create single obligations up to $5 million on behalf of the United States Government.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all the duties of the assigned program or contract are successfully performed and that applicable requirements of procurement statutes and regulations are met by subordinates.

You will determine procurement strategy (formal or negotiated) and contract type.

You will develop/review contract terms and conditions and recommend revisions, deletions, additions, etc.

You will receive and administer new contract awards, modifications, and administrative changes.

You will prepare and maintain contract records and files documenting contract award, modifications, performance, compliance, change status, and delivery status.

You will define, organize, and assign activities to accomplish projects/programs goals.

You will provide advice and assistance in the development of requirements/specs to ensure that the government contracts for the services and supplies in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
