Forklift Operator

Troy, NY

1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (possible 6:30 AM start)

⏱️ Overtime Available (5–10 hrs/week)

Full-Time | Permanent Position

We’re hiring a Forklift Operator to join a small, team-oriented warehouse supporting a major distributor of carwash equipment and components. This role combines forklift operation (about 40% of your day) with order picking, pallet building, and shipping preparation in a clean, organized facility.

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials safely throughout the warehouse
• Use an iPad and RF scanner to locate and pick products by aisle and bay
• Pick and pull orders accurately based on customer requirements
• ️ Build and organize pallets for shipment
• Operate an automated wrap machine to secure outgoing orders
• Stage completed orders for outbound shipping
• ✅ Maintain high accuracy while meeting daily productivity goals
• Perform general warehouse tasks such as lifting, stacking, and material handling
• Work collaboratively with a small, tight-knit team
• Support warehouse organization, packing, and housekeeping tasks
• ⚠️ Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines

• At least 6 months of sit-down forklift experience or certification
• Experience with order picking, warehouse operations, or material handling
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Comfortable using RF scanners, iPads, or warehouse tech
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or GED

• Experience as an order picker, material handler, or warehouse associate
• Familiarity with pallet jacks and shipping processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, NY.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Troy,NY.
