## Registered Nurse - Pre Admission Testing - DaysApplylocations: NSO 4901 Searle Parkway Corporate Office Skokietime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R43517**Hourly Pay Range:**$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** **Position:**Registered Nurse – Pre Procedure Services* **Location:** 4901 Searle Pkwy Skokie IL* **Part Time**, 20 hours per week* **Hours:**Monday - Friday, 8:30a-5p, *No calls or weekends***What you will need:*** **License:**Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required* **Education:**Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred* **Certification:**BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required* **Experience:**Minimum of 5 years-experience in peri anesthesia (PAT, Pre-op, PACU/Phase 2) Strong background in Pre-admission testing strongly preferred.* **Unique or Preferred Skills:** Proficiency in EPIC Application**What you will do:*** Demonstrates a commitment to the mission of Endeavor Health, exhibits a positive service orientation, and adheres to all responsibilities and standards of the organization.* Conducts patient interview via telephone prior to scheduled surgeries to obtain and share procedural information and directions* Provides patient education via telephone related to upcoming surgery* Informs patient of pre-anesthetic evaluation process* Collaborates closely with the Anesthesia provider team* Ensures required pre-surgical testing is completed prior to patient surgical appointment* Integrates research findings into nursing practice* Works cohesively with related nursing areas prior to surgical procedure* Maintains knowledge of nursing procedures specific to different service lines* Maintains knowledge and competency reflective of current standards of nursing practice.* Promotes hospital quality improvement goals.* Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit* Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care* Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care* Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care* Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience**Benefits (For full time or part time positions):*** Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
