HVAC Diagnostic Specialist / Field Coach
We are seeking an experienced HVAC professional to join our team as an HVAC Diagnostic Specialist / Field Coach. This role is responsible for diagnosing HVAC system issues, supporting installation and maintenance operations, and mentoring field technicians to improve performance and workmanship quality. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently and accurately
- Support HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair activities
- Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to field technicians
- Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to company standards
- Promote safe work practices and compliance with safety procedures
- Assist in improving technician skill development and operational efficiency
- Maintain clear communication with team members and leadership
- Manage multiple service and support tasks effectively
- Encourage continuous learning and best practices within the field team
Qualifications and Certifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC service, installation, or diagnostics
- Strong knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and system maintenance
- Experience with HVAC system design and installation practices
- Ability to coach and mentor technicians in the field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- EPA Certification and industry-related licenses are a plus
