Schedule

Day shift, 3x8-hour (08:00 - 16:00), Monday to Friday, with flexibility of Tuesday to Friday. Approximately 24 hours/week.

Job Description

The Acute Care Physical Therapist will primarily work within an inpatient therapy setting, focusing on patient evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions for various diagnoses in a lower acuity inpatient population, including conditions such as deconditioning, weakness, impaired balance, and post-operative rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions, including strength testing and mobility training.
• Utilize various adaptive devices and techniques to assist patients in recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Washington State Physical Therapist License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in acute care or relevant settings.
• Preferred experience with Epic charting system.
