Payroll Associate

Payroll Associate Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Payroll Associate to join their team. As a Payroll Associate, you will be part of the Payroll Support Department supporting payroll tax processing and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and consistency, which will align successfully in the organization. Role: Payroll Associate Location: St. Paul, MN - 100% onsite Duration: 3-4 months with the possibility of extension/conversion Pay: $27/hr on W2 What's the Job? Specialize in backend payroll processing and post-payroll tax activities Handle tax notices and work directly with tax providers and third-party authorizations Manage multi-state payroll tax compliance and filings Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in payroll tax documentation and reporting What's Needed? High school diploma with 2-3 years of payroll tax experience Solid understanding of federal, state, and FICA payroll taxes Experience working with state agencies and tax notices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel Clear and effective communication skills with attention to detail What's in it for me?
