Forklift Operator/Cherry Picker Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $17.00 to $18.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- Various shifts available ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm )
- Safely operate a cherry picker forklift to retrieve and stock inventory up to 50 feet in the air.
- Pull, stage, and verify customer orders while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using powered industrial equipment.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and follow all warehouse safety procedures while working at elevated heights.
- Assist with inventory organization, cycle counts, and maintaining a clean, efficient warehouse.
Forklift Operator/Cherry Picker Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent cherry picker forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment required.
- Proven stable work history and longevity with previous employers; reliability and attendance are essential.
- Comfortable working at heights of up to 50 feet while operating powered industrial equipment.
- Ability to accurately read pick tickets, locate inventory, and meet productivity goals with minimal supervision.
- Forklift certification or the ability to successfully complete on-site equipment evaluation preferred.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
