Our team in Dunn is looking to expand with Administrative Support through a Yard Coordinator. An overview of the job description is provided below.


Summary/objective
Yard Coordinator
is responsible for
location
trailer
placement and bill exchange.
This role is accountable for organization of the trailer yard and the location of moving parts.
Essential
functions

Responsible
to give accurate and
timely
responses
to
supervisors, forklift operators,
drivers,
and many others.
•
Responsible to check in and check out drivers.
•
Responsible for accurate
location
of trailers along with updating data as movements take
place.
Competencies
•
Able to
communicate
through verbal and written forms.
•
Able to
confidently make decisions, especially quick last-minute changes.
•
Able
to read, write and communicate in various forms to reach the receiving audience.
•
Workable knowledge of
reports, software
and
tools, as applicable.
•
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and office
technology.
•
Customer service focus for internal and external customer interactions, including through verbal and written communication varieties.
Work
environment
The work environment is fast paced, sometimes loud and includes some extreme temperature fluctuations.
Physical
demands
Ability to communicate through audible and written communications.
Ability to stand, sit, bend,
and
kneel
frequently.
Requires use
of hand and finger coordination for gripping and typing.
Ability to lift up to
25
pounds on a
regular
basis.
Ability to read, write, speak and hear in English.
Required
education and
experience
•
Proficiency with Microsoft office and Warehouse/production
software

Preferred education and
experience
•
Experience in similar workplace environment and role, or proven training for this position
