Job Title

Travel: MRI Technologist – Interventional Radiology (Evenings)

Contract | Evenings, 4x10 (3:30 PM – 1:30 AM) | 36 Weekly Guaranteed Hours | 16-Week Assignment | Rotating call required, may include weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized MRI procedures on patients, producing diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
• Provide patient care essential to MRI procedures, including care for vented patients and anesthesia cases
• Apply principles of MR safety throughout all procedures and patient interactions
• Operate GE 1.5T and GE 3T MRI equipment and utilize PACS (Visage) and EMR (EPIC) systems
• Support Interventional Radiology as well as ER and outpatient imaging needs
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule as required by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program
• A.R.R.T. registration required upon hire
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, with pediatric radiology/imaging experience required
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Flu vaccination (or approved exemption) required November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced A.R.R.T. MRI Registry certification
• Hands-on experience with GE 1.5T and GE 3T MRI equipment
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Visage PACS systems
