Why You'll Love This Role:
As the Chief Development Officer, you'll work alongside our Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, and Advisory Councils, playing a key role in shaping the future of our organization. You'll lead a talented team dedicated to fundraising and grant management, and you'll engage with major donors to help ensure we continue to be a force for good in the community.
You'll also have the chance to:
- Develop innovative fundraising strategies, from major gifts to capital campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, corporations, and foundations.
- Lead grant management efforts to secure vital resources.
- Leadership : Guide the Resource Development team and act as a visionary for future fundraising initiatives.
- Fundraising : Drive strategies for major gifts, planned giving, corporate partnerships, and annual campaigns.
- Grant Management : Identify and pursue grant opportunities while ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Administration : Report progress to the CEO and Board, manage donor records, and ensure reconciliation with the Finance Department.
- Team Management : Lead and inspire a team of development and grant professionals.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proven success in fundraising , including major gifts, annual campaigns, and grant writing.
- Stellar communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a high-performing team.
- A passion for our mission and a commitment to driving positive change.
- A desire to travel and engage with our communities frequently.
