Position Summary

The Back Server supports the service team in delivering an exceptional fine dining experience. This role works closely with servers, captains, and kitchen staff to ensure the dining room is clean, organized, properly stocked, and running smoothly throughout service.

The ideal candidate is attentive, professional, efficient, and understands the importance of hospitality and teamwork in a high-end restaurant environment.

• Assist servers and captains with smooth and efficient table service.
• Deliver and clear plates, glassware, silverware, and other service items promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining tables, service stations, and the dining room.
• Reset tables quickly and accurately according to restaurant standards.
• Refill water and assist with beverage service when requested.
• Maintain and restock service stations throughout the shift.
• Assist with pre-service and post-service setup and breakdown.
• Communicate effectively with servers, captains, kitchen staff, and management.
• Anticipate the needs of guests and the service team.
• Maintain awareness of dining room activity and assist wherever needed.
• Handle plateware, glassware, and silverware carefully.
• Follow all restaurant standards for sanitation, safety, grooming, and guest service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and composed during busy service periods.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry trays, dishes, and service items.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry service items, bend, reach, and move efficiently throughout the dining room.
