POSITION SUMMARY

KMD Contracting Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our growing janitorial and facility services business. This position is ideal for an experienced bookkeeping professional looking for flexible, once-a-month accounting work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reconcile business bank accounts and credit card statements Review and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online Ensure invoices, payments, and expenses are properly recorded Review accounts receivable and accounts payable balances Assist with monthly financial reports and profit/loss statements Monitor payroll-related entries and expense tracking Identify discrepancies and notify management of concerns Maintain organized digital financial records Coordinate with management regarding budgeting and financial planning Prepare records for CPA or tax filing as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous bookkeeping experience required Experience using QuickBooks Online preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong communication and organizational skills Experience working with small businesses preferred Knowledge of payroll and basic accounting principles

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience supporting service-based companies Familiarity with janitorial, construction, or facility service industries Understanding of invoicing and Net-30 billing environments

COMPENSATION

Competitive monthly flat-rate or hourly compensation based on experience.

SCHEDULE

Once per month with flexible scheduling available. MUST LIVE IN THE DMV AREA!
