Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Min of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS, ACLS
• Holiday Expectations: MUST work 2 major Holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 Minor Holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical oncology unit
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management
• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in patient care
