Material Handling Operator

$23 - $25 per hour

Our client, a leading organization in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Material Handling Operator to join their team. As a Material Handling Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handling Operator

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm

What's the Job?

Receive incoming shipments and verify items against shipping documents, including material numbers, descriptions, and quantities.
Inspect incoming goods for visible damage and document any issues.
Enter and maintain inventory data in warehouse management systems.
Pick and assemble orders from warehouse locations according to delivery documentation.
Package shipments according to shipping requirements, safety standards, and special handling instructions, including hazardous materials when applicable.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Completion of a 2-year vocational training program or equivalent experience.
Up to 1 year of related warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience.
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory processes, and data entry systems.
Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
