Project Engineer

Project EngineerRoseville, CAUprite Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support ground up commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and tilt up projects throughout the Greater Sacramento region.This position is ideal for someone who has experience working for a general contractor and wants to grow into an Assistant Project Manager and future Project Manager. The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to help drive successful project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.ResponsibilitiesManage RFIs, submittals, and project documentationAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost trackingCoordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendorsTrack procurement and long lead materialsMaintain project logs and meeting minutesSupport schedule updates and progress reportingReview plans, specifications, and shop drawingsParticipate in project meetings and site walksAssist with project closeout and turnover documentationQualifications2+ years of Project Engineer experienceGround up commercial construction experience requiredExperience working for a general contractor strongly preferredExperience with industrial, manufacturing, tilt up, warehouse, distribution, or commercial projects preferredBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferredProcore and Bluebeam experience preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsUprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
