Job Description Benefits $72K/yr+ depending on experience, railroad retirement, pension, 401k match, health benefits, vacation, relocation for those who qualify. Work Environment Outdoor/Field, 12-hour shifts, weekend and holiday work required. Principal Duties Patrol terminals, yards, right of ways, and other railroad property to ensure security. Safeguard property, employees, patrons, and goods in transit Conduct inspections, background check, and criminal investigations as assigned. Implement prevention techniques, inspect friend, apply security devices, and conduct surveillances to deter crimes against NS property. Respond to police calls for service and act as a first responder, facilitating effective coordination with fire and rescue, hazmat, and environmental, law enforcement, and or other emergency services.
