Litigation Legal Assistant
A respected law firm client of ours is hiring a Litigation Legal Assistant for its West Palm Beach office. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day litigation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file court documents, including electronic filings
- Draft letters, memos, and routine legal documents
- Organize case files and manage deadlines
- Handle scheduling, calls, and meetings for attorneys
- Interact with court staff, clients, and legal teams professionally
- Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information
- Transcribe dictation and process incoming/outgoing mail
- Track reimbursements and submit payment requests
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in litigation support within a law firm or legal setting
- Familiarity with pleadings, court filings, and legal terminology
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of iManage, InTapp, or similar software preferred
- Clear communication and excellent time management
- Ability to work occasional overtime when needed
- Background in legal studies or related coursework is a plus
