Job Description

As a Security Officer Bike Route Driver in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will represent a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping put people first every day.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, shipments, and restricted area access.
Support order at the location by observing equipment areas, vehicle traffic, and high-activity zones, then escalating maintenance, hazard, and/or policy-related issues through the proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Able to ride a bike.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
