Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol Team in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, supporting site coverage with professionalism and integrity. Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, or restricted-area concerns to appropriate personnel.
Support security-related operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by following post orders, observing for potential hazards or process disruptions, and assisting with incident reporting and access control procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
