Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol Team in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, supporting site coverage with professionalism and integrity. - Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, or restricted-area concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Support security-related operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by following post orders, observing for potential hazards or process disruptions, and assisting with incident reporting and access control procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
