As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Cheyney, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional in an educational setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and support a positive campus environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic spaces, residence areas, parking locations, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
