Radiology - Breast Specialist in Lafayette, LA | Full-Time Outpatient Position

End Date/Duration: Minimum several months commitment
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In-person only, no weekends, no call)
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Employment Type: Full-Time
Licenses/Certifications: Breast Imaging Fellowship required
Experience: Prior breast imaging experience preferred

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application)

What You'll Do

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms at outpatient facilities
Conduct breast ultrasounds and stereotactic (stereotactic) biopsies
Perform ultrasound-guided biopsies and Breast MRI procedures
Assist with breast MRI biopsies as part of diagnostic evaluations
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols

What You Need

Valid fellowship in Breast Imaging
Active state medical license in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain one
Full Certificates of Insurance (COI) and LA PCF coverage required for credentialing
Clean background and malpractice history
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in outpatient breast radiology
Ability to handle high-volume screening and diagnostic procedures efficiently
