This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM, alternating throughout the schedule for both staff and travelers. Weekend call coverage is required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse with recent cardiovascular operating room experience. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to scrub and circulate in complex surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room.
• Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures as a scrub and circulating nurse.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required by the unit.
• Utilize Cerner (PowerChart/SurgiNet) for accurate charting and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of recent CVOR experience.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS.
