Qualifications:

• BSN, and MSN or DNP and National Certification
• Minimum of five (5) years of direct and relevant experience in clinical practice, occupational health, and advanced case management, including experience in medical review, fitness for duty evaluations, and review of complex medical determinations.
• Must hold current, active Virginia licensure or a multistate Nurse Licensure Compact license meeting Virginia Board of Nursing requirements
• All personnel must also be able to pass TSO PERSEC public trust/suitability vetting; work can't start until final favorable adjudication.

The place of performance is TSA HQ in Springfield, VA. Remote-eligible after the first month of training but expected onsite at least once per week thereafter.

Work Schedule: Core Hours) 0900-1500 Monday-Friday

Duties include:

• Onsite at TSA Headquarters in Springfield, VA, or at a contractor site to perform medical reviews of employee-completed electronic AMC questionnaires, Fitness for Duty (FFD) evaluations and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) records, TSO (Transportation Security Officer) applicant, and TSO reinstatement medical exam results.
• Remote nurses must report to TSA Headquarters at least once per week after their first month (which is dedicated to training). This travel is considered local and non-reimbursable.
