JOB TITLE : Physician - Neurosurgery & Spine

DEPARTMENT : SPINE/NEURO SURGERY

JOB SUMMARY

The physician provides neurologic clinical care for the patients seen at Mon Health's clinic and hospital sites. To follow and direct evidenced based practices as established within the Neurology service line. Collaborates and coordinated the individualized treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure an appropriate continuum of care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
• Graduate of Accredited Medical School.
• Board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery.

Experience/Physical Requirements:

Experience in group practice and/or hospital setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
Current unrestricted West Virginia licensure. Current West Virigina Federal Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate or ability to obtain at time of appointment. Fully credentialed according to Mon Health's section of Neurology & Surgical Services.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain and document all applicable required education and job knowledge ensuring licensure, credentials and continuing education are actively maintained and timely.2. Participate in the continuous, quality improvement activities of the department and institution.5. Perform work in a cost effective manner.6. Attend mandatory in-service, staff meetings and medical staff meetings as required.7. Perform work in alignment with the overall mission and strategic plan of the organization.8. Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as applicable.9. Completes all required competencies on time.10. Perform related duties as assigned.
