Lakeside Heating and Cooling is looking for a dependable Residential HVAC Install Assistant to join our growing team. This entry‑level role is perfect for someone eager to gain real‑world experience installing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems—no HVAC experience required. You’ll work side‑by‑side with experienced installers, learn industry best practices, and grow into a long‑term career with advancement opportunities. What You’ll Do Assist lead installers with installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites Set up and organize job sites to ensure clean, safe, and efficient installations Learn to drill, cut, measure, and assemble materials accurately Assist with basic electrical and mechanical connections under supervision Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles Follow safety guidelines and company quality standards Represent Lakeside professionally while working in customers’ homes and businesses What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED preferred Construction or HVAC experience is a plus, but not required Willingness to learn, follow direction, and grow in the trade Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools Valid driver’s license preferred Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality Team‑player mindset with a positive attitude Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs regularly Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and tight areas Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and stay active throughout the day Willing to work in various weather conditions Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Hands‑on training and a clear career advancement path Health, dental, and vision insurance (if applicable) Paid time off and paid holidays Why Join Lakeside Heating and Cooling?
