Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac ICU position requiring recent specialty experience and GA or compact RN licensure. Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required CCRN and NIH Stroke Scale certifications preferred Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in cardiac ICU specialty required Responsibilities Work in a highly specialized 20-bed Cardiac ICU (CVC) unit caring for open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients Uses specialized equipment including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT, and epicardial pacemakers 12-hour day shifts, schedule varies between 7A-7P 3 shifts per week with a deferred schedule No on-call responsibilities Provide specialized nursing care for complex cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical patients Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-758384 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
