Nurses in this unit provide care for acute care trauma and surgical patients. The staff specializes in an interdisciplinary team approach tailored to each patient's needs. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:6, ensuring personalized attention for all patients. Collaboration with family practice physicians and surgical specialists is essential. Nurses will also assist with orthopedic and urology patient care. This role includes floating to other units as required. Weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory and scheduled as needed. The facility values teamwork and individualized patient care for illnesses, surgeries, and observations. Candidates are required to hold an associate degree in nursing.
