Call Center Representative

Description Summary The main function of a customer service representative is to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. A typical customer service representative is responsible for determining the client's billing issues, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. Customer service agents may be inbound, outbound or a combination of both. Job Responsibilities - Provide timely customer service to incoming telephone calls in an automated call delivery environment - Assume ownership and respond to customer (internal/external) billing correspondence, complaints and inquiries in an efficient, accurate and professional manner to achieve an optimal outcome - To ensure complete resolution of all customer inquiries; may need to coordinate end to end service with other business partners - Effectively navigate multiple systems (will be trained on internal systems and applications) to research, analyze and resolve customer inquiries - Work effectively in a team environment using professional interpersonal and communication skills - Utilize basic understanding of product & process guidelines - As business priorities change, support other teams and process transactions as needed - Complete assignments and other duties as assigned Job schedule: It is a 5 day in office role. Job hours: Work hours-hiring for 10:30am CST-7:00pm CST. Training will be from 8am - 4:30pm for the first 8-10 weeks. Interview process-Onsite-one interview and decision will be made Skills Customer service, Customer support, Call center Additional Skills & Qualifications Skills - Strong customer service skills including oral and written communication. - Demonstrated leadership skills - Must possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, - Excellent Professional verbal and written communications skills - Knowledge of MS Word (generating and editing documents using templates) and Excel (basic functions, however, high level knowledge is a plus). Education/Experience - 1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment preferred - Sales experience a plus - Maintain performance standards within a fast-paced environment of customer service principles and practices - Strong data entry skills are required Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of O'Fallon, MO.
