Sr. Accountant - Intercompany

A great UHY client is seeking a Senior Accountant - Intercompany . The ideal candidate will have intercompany accounting experience, multi‑entity accounting and consolidation experience, and strong Excel and systems skills. The Senior Accountant - Intercompany role is a hybrid position. This is a direct hire position. Responsibilities Record, reconcile, and monitor intercompany transactions across multiple legal entities. Prepare and maintain intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries as part of the monthly and year‑end close process. Investigate and resolve intercompany differences in a timely manner. Support month‑end and year‑end close activities related to intercompany balances and transactions. Perform variance analysis and collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders to resolve accounting issues. Support compliance with transfer pricing policies and related documentation requirements. Assist with audit requests by preparing schedules, supporting documentation, and reconciliation. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements. Participate in ERP implementation, optimization, and process improvement initiatives related to intercompany accounting and consolidation. Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and accounting procedures. Support efforts related to financial reporting scalability, process standardization, and control enhancement. Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of intercompany accounting processes. Collaborate with finance, accounting, tax, and operational teams to support organizational objectives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong intercompany accounting experience in a multi‑entity environment. Experience with intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and consolidation processes. Experience working within a large organization, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of month‑end and year‑end close processes. Experience supporting audits and maintaining compliance with internal control. Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting systems and ERP platform. Experience participating in ERP implementations, upgrades, or process improvement initiatives is preferred. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control. Experience designing, documenting, or improving accounting processes is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively across departments, entities, and global team.
