Job Description\n AHS Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Casper, Wyoming.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout their hospitalization. The RN assesses each patient's physical, psychological, social, spiritual, developmental, cultural, and educational needs; develops and implements an individualized plan of care; evaluates patient progress; and accurately documents all aspects of care.\n \n The RN works closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate treatment, communicate changes in patient condition, administer care according to physician orders and nursing standards, and ensure safe, effective, and timely patient care.\n \n The RN is also responsible for patient and family education, discharge planning, delegation and supervision of other healthcare personnel, and maintaining continuity of care between shifts and departments.\n \n This position may also involve precepting and mentoring other nurses, participating in quality-improvement initiatives, shared leadership, education, and activities designed to improve patient outcomes.\n \n Requirements Active RN License BLS required Minimum 1 year acute-care hospital RN experience for Banner Travel/Registry positions Must have worked in the specialty within the past 12 months Additional certifications may be required depending on specialty Clinical competency appropriate to the position Preferred BSN Professional certification Additional related education/experience Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching and stretching Patient transfers and mobility assistance May lift up to 75 lbs Ability to respond quickly to patient-care needs Standard precautions for exposure to blood/body fluids Important: The specific specialty, hospital, EMR, shift, ratios, trauma level, and certifications aren't included in the information you provided, so those would need to come from the actual job order.About AHS Staffing\n \n At AHS Staffing, we are committed to providing a personalized, transparent, and rewarding experience.
