Even better—the current Controller is retiring after a successful tenure and will remain available to support training, knowledge transfer, and a smooth transition into the role. Responsibilities: Lead accounting and financial operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, cash management, and financial reporting Oversee construction job costing, WIP reporting, billing, and revenue recognition Manage union payroll and related compliance requirements Partner with project managers and operations to analyze project performance and profitability Strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting Help lead the company’s planned transition from American Contractor to Sage Serve as a trusted financial partner to ownership and company leadership Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field 8+ years of accounting leadership experience within the construction industry Significant experience in a union construction environment Strong expertise in job costing, WIP schedules, construction billing, and revenue recognition Advanced Excel skills A hands-on, collaborative leadership style with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities If you’re a proven construction accounting leader who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on, this is an opportunity to step into a strong organization where your expertise and ideas will have a visible impact. #J-18808-Ljbffr
