As a Security Officer Unarmed - Overnight Hospital in Lancaster, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute to a caring culture that puts people first through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as required, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
