Position Details

Shift: NIGHTS - 4 twelve-hour shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM with every third weekend minimum.

Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maternal-Child Health (MCH) Nurse with a minimum of five years of labor and postpartum experience. The ideal candidate will have circulation experience and be willing to provide care for GYN surgical and general post-operative patients.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, MCH Nurses deliver comprehensive care to pregnant women, laboring women, newborns, children, and families throughout various stages of healthcare. This role utilizes the nursing process encompassing assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation according to established professional standards. MCH Nurses collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and successful outcomes.

Education Requirements

• Active RN License in the state of New Hampshire required.
• BLS certification required.

Experience Requirements

• Two or more years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Willingness to work every third weekend.

Skills Required

• Strong interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff, adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated patient-centered behaviors.
• Organizational skills to maintain a high level of accuracy in daily tasks.

Additional Information

Orientation up to 16 hours is unpaid. Shifts may be subject to cancellation up to three times within a 13-week contract.
