Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory TechnicianJob Title: Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician Profession: Medical Laboratory Specialty: Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM, occasional weekends Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Licensed by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Certifications: ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certified Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician required Must-Have: Experience with Epic Experience with Antibody IDs Experience in Emergency blood banking Experience with Ortho Vitros 5600 Description: The laboratory teams have responsibilities for testing samples that may include blood, body fluids, and tissue. These tests aid in the diagnosis of diseases, illnesses, or conditions that may require medical attention. Lab tests are processed for hospital inpatients and emergency room patients twenty-four hours a day. Additionally, testing is performed on outpatient and clinic specimens. All laboratories are licensed under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments Act (CLIA) and accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). Candidates must possess the relevant experience outlined above. General interview availability should be provided when applying.
