There is never a dull moment with us.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsWe are seeking a Camera System Firmware Engineer with strong expertise in Python, including Python GUI development. This role involves providing Python camera models and deep test infrastructure for our hardware. A system-level understanding of camera hardware is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation Framework Development: create and maintain test automation frameworks for our cameras using Python and Jython. These frameworks operate stand-alone (Python) and large tool software environment (Jython)Scripting: develop automated test scripts for functional, regression and API testing.Test Suite Integration: Develop camera interfaces for existing Labview test suites based on python. Develop engineering/scientific GUIs for data visualization using PyQt/PyQtGraph, or similar libraries.Develop python test scripts for hardware interfaces in test benches. Power supplies, oscilloscopes, other test equipmentCollaborate with hardware, FPGA and firmware engineers to understand the camera systems and benches.Prototype firmware using python and provide requirements to embedded software engineer.
