Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a wide range of patients, from newborn to elderly, presenting various medical complaints. Candidates must exhibit proficiency in critical care and thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: August 1, 2025

• Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, Nights (12P-12A)

• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
• Charting System: EPIC

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill patients including those in cardiac arrest, suffering strokes, or heart attacks
• Administer various drips and medications, including vasopressors and cardiac drips
• Collaborate with a trauma team to stabilize trauma patients
• Interpret and act on patient rhythms using provided monitors
• Perform lab draws and manage ED tech roles

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or initiation of application process
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC or TNS certifications

Preferred:

• At least 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel assignment experience
• SANE RN experience
• Experience working in a teaching hospital
