Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour Job Schedule Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, high-traffic areas, and/or designated locations for suspicious behavior, policy violations, or other security-related issues, and communicate with local authorities when needed. Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious incidents, and following post orders related to retail and mall operations. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
