Education Coordinator

Job Details Job Location: Riverdale - Riverdale, UT 84405 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $24.00 - $30.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Monday-Friday 6 am- 2pm Looking for an Education Coordinator to assist our clients with their educational development in a residential treatment setting with clients with a varying academic ability. Wage is dependent on education experience. Responsibilities The Education Coordinator will track and order educational material for each student and assist students with technology based educational activities/testing for each subject. Must ensure each student has appropriate individualized educational materials available each day and all required documents are submitted for enrollment in a timely manner to accredited education provider. Must grade educational materials and keep accurate records of student grades. Keep a consistent school schedule and implement extracurricular activities to assist learning. Attend required meetings and communicate student progress with team members/staff. Must be an exceptional problem solver and communicate with education provider when issues arise to troubleshoot possible solutions. Special Education skills and endorsement preferred, but not required. Must be a highly motivated, self-starter with strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Must be an active problem solver and work well with a team. Experience with Excel and spreadsheets is required. Must be able to communicate well with a team and work well with adolescent students. Experience working in the mental health environment is preferred, but program specific training is provided and required for Education Coordinator.
