As a Shift Lead, you will create an excellent customer experience by scooping ice cream and making special items like ice cream sundaes and milkshakes. You will receive barista training and make high quality coffee and tea drinks. You will be trained on opening and closing the shop. You will also become an expert in making fresh sugar cones and marshmallow fluff from scratch. In addition to providing exceptional service, you will be a leader and role model for the staff. During your shift, you will be responsible for maintaining the flow of business and the presentation of the shop, and holding everyone to our high standards of service and product quality. Downtown Santa Cruz Pleasure Point Scotts Valley Requirements Skills include critical thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and leadership. Ability to work autonomously, and as a team player and leader. Ability to effectively communicate and work in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in attention to detail and follow-through. Available to work on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Available to work at least 20 hours a week on a reliable basis. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in leadership, but we are willing to train the right person.
