Call Center Representative

Call Center Representative Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid) Schedule: Rotating 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM Qualifications 2+ years of recent experience in healthcare customer service, health insurance, managed care, or a healthcare call center environment Experience handling high-volume inbound calls High School Diploma or equivalent Reliable high-speed internet for remote work Strong communication and customer service skills Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are highly preferred Responsibilities Answer inbound calls and assist members with health insurance-related inquiries Support customers through the enrollment process Process requests such as ID card replacements, provider changes, and demographic updates Research and resolve customer issues in a timely, professional manner Accurately document customer interactions Meet quality, productivity, and customer service goals Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information Work Environment Hybrid schedule with only 2 in-office days per month after training Initial training conducted onsite Must be local to the Austin area Occasional rotating weekend coverage If you have a background in healthcare customer service, health insurance, or call center support and enjoy helping people navigate their healthcare benefits, we'd love to hear from you. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
